visit usWe are very excited to announce the opening of our brand new Hospitality Room and our ability to accommodate more visitors to Spottswoode in 2013! A Spottswoode Estate tour and tasting is a great opportunity to taste our current releases and catch up on the latest vineyard and winery news.

Our tour and tasting experience begins with a walk around the entire estate, including the historic Spottswoode home and gardens, our vineyard, production buildings, and “ghost winery” stone cellar, finishing with a seated tasting of the current vintages of our Spottswoode Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Lyndenhurst Cabernet Sauvignon, and Spottswoode Sauvignon Blanc.

Reservations are held in advance by credit card for our limited tours and tastings. We schedule our tours on weekdays at 10:00 am. Space is quite limited, so please make sure to contact us as much in advance as possible (we recommend calling four to six weeks in advance). The charge is $45 per person which is credited toward a minimum purchase of six bottles.

For more information or to make a reservation, please call 707/963-0134 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, or email us at tours@spottswoode.com. Please keep in mind that we are closed on the weekends and on major holidays. We look forward to welcoming you to Spottswoode!

“Visiting Spottswoode is like taking a step back into a very romantic, Great Gatsby-esque period of history. The beautiful estate gardens and vineyards and the pre-Prohibition buildings are all, somehow, present in the elegant Spottswoode wines. The Novaks are also fine storytellers and their love of this estate is quite evident.”
