A visit to Spottswoode has always been an intimate experience and a chance for visitors to experience the deep connection we have to our Estate. Our team is looking forward to welcoming and sharing our historic winegrowing estate, renowned wines, and certified Organic, Biodynamic, and Regenerative Organic vineyard with you.


Tastings by Appointment Only

Visits to Spottswoode are available by appointment only and tastings may be held outdoors, weather permitting. Your experience will be small and personal, generally beginning with an informative walk through the vineyard and around the estate grounds and winery. We will acquaint you with our organic and biodynamic farming practices as well as our fermentation, winemaking, and aging processes. You will finish with a seated tasting of our current-release Spottswoode wines. Please note: Space is limited due to our use permit and priority is given to current SPOTT! members. Please inquire with as much advance notice as possible so that we have the best opportunity to accommodate you. Thank you!

Important Information

  • Visits are hosted privately and scheduled Monday-Friday.
  • Spottswoode is closed on weekends and all major holidays.
  • Space is limited and reservations are required.
  • Our tasting fee is $150 per person for guests who are not yet SPOTT! members.
  • Two tasting fees are waived with every 6-bottle purchase of Estate Cabernet ($285/btl).
  • Everyone in your group must be at least 21 years of age.
  • As a working winery and vineyard, we regret we are unable to welcome children to the property.
  • Only certified service animals are allowed on the property. No other pets, please. (Our winery dogs are at work!)
  • Electric vehicle charging stations are available for our visitors upon request.
