Spottswoode’s Sauvignon is a well-loved classic Super Sauvignon with a refreshing burst of savoriness – a tapestry of spearmint, tarragon, limes, arugula, elderflowers, and snap peas, along with a vivid minerality. It reminds me of the electrifying feeling of walking into a cool forest on a hot day. 97 points (May 2026)

With the addition of Sauvignon Musqué and Semillon clones, and a labor-intensive fermentation in small stainless steel, French oak, amphora, and ceramic cuves, this is Spottswoode’s first bottling of Sauvignon Blanc sourced from all organic vineyards. Lemon-vanilla cream, pineapple, and honeysuckle are cherished flavors that follow a perfume of lime blossom. It finishes with a hint of thyme and salinity sparked grapefruit zest. 95 points (September 2026)
