Lyndenhurst Cabernet Sauvignon

2010 Lyndenhurst Cabernet Sauvignon

JancisRobinson.com, Jancis Robinson

Glowing crimson. Rich and ripe on nose. Succulent and glossy. Sweet end. Food wine. Rich but not at all heavy. Very different from the more open 2011. A fine wine by any measure but still a little reserved. Just 751 cases made. Drink 2015–2025. 17.5/20 points (September 23, 2014)

Sunset Magazine, Sara Schneider

Balanced and ready to drink now, with black cherry and currant, dark chocolate, black tea, gravel, and approachable tannins. (December 21, 2012)

Finding affordable high-quality wines is all about knowing where to look? Lyndenhurst is on the list of esteemed Napa wineries and their second “secret label” offerings! (November 2012)

International Wine Cellar, Steve Tanzer

(100% estate fruit): Bright red ruby. Black cherry, cassis, cedar and graphite on the nose. Supple and sweet but more vibrant than some past vintages of this second wine, with rich currant and chocolate flavors accented by fresh herbs and a hint of menthol. Finishes with supple tannins and nice length. This will offer plenty of early appeal. 89 points (May 2012)
